Course Content:
This course will offer an introduction to Digital painting in Photoshop, exploring the techniques of:
- The fundamentals of digital painting
- Photo collage
- Composition
- Brush creation
- Colour management
- Non-destructive workflow
Participant Profile:
This course is aimed at those who are looking to break into the creative industries, traditional illustrators and students of Fine Art, Illustration and Animation. It will provide a strong grounding in the fundamentals of digital painting, highlighting a non-destructive, industry standard work flow which will allow the student to pursue their creativity through the use of digital techniques.
Tutor Info:
James Kenny has worked in the Game, Television and Film industries since 1999; including the Tomb Raider game series, the Terminator franchise and the recent Jungle Book live action re-imagining, working as a Concept Artist, 3D environment and character artist and Digital Matte Painter. He currently works in Dublin at Windmill Lane VFX.
