Course Content:

This course will cover:

  • The Nuke Interface
  • Node-based compositing workflow, overview and best practices
  • Filters & simple masking tools
  • Rotoscoping & Keying
  • Grading, Color Correction
  • Transforms, Tracking

Participant Profile:

Participants should have a basic knowledge of graphics and/or compositing in another package.

Tutor Info:

After working for several years as a CG freelancer in Europe, Fred Burdy settled in Ireland to work with Windmill Lane Pictures as a Senior CG Artist. At Windmill Lane Pictures, he has worked on numerous commercials, TV and Feature Films using Softimage, Maya and Nuke. He also wrote and directed two animated short films, TrĂ­d an Stoirm and Forest Lights.

5 Wednesday Evenings from 6.30pm-9.30pm, 10th February, 17th February, 24th February, 2nd March and 9th March.
