Learning Outcomes:

This course will provide participants with the knowledge and practice they need to create exciting 2d digital animations with TVPaint.

On the completion of this course participants will have the necessary knowledge to take a project from design through to final colour using TVPaint. Participants will create personal animations and work with prepared files to become familiar and comfortable working within TVPaint.

Participant Profile:

This course is suitable for all artists looking to create 2D digital animation. The course will focus on basic to intermediate training and will benefit beginners and casual users looking to build their skills and knowledge of TVPaint.

Tutor Info:

Sean McCarron is a Canadian animator who has fifteen years experience in the animation industry.  He studied Classical Animation at Vancouver Film School and has worked in several studios in both Canada and Ireland.  He has been using TVPaint for the last five years, most recently as Lead Animator with Cartoon Saloon on the Oscar nominated feature film ‘Song of the Sea’.

Monday 6.30pm-9.30pm, Dates: 13th April, 20th April, 27th April, 4th May and 11th May.

Cost:

Members: 90 Euro, Non Members: 110 Euro
