Course Name:
Introduction to Anime Studio Pro

Entry Requirements:
This introductory course will provide participants with the tools and methods they need to create exciting digital animations with Anime Studio Pro. An understanding of animation principles and digital animation will be required.

Learning Outcomes:
On completion of this course participants will have an understanding of the basics of creating complete animations with Anime Studio Pro

Course Content:
Introduction to Anime Studio Pro in Use – Working on Puffin Rock.
Drawing and asset creation in Anime Studio Pro.
The Basics of rigging in Anime Studio Pro.
Advanced rigging techniques including Smart Bones, masks and texturing principals.
Overview of animation tools in Anime Studio Pro.
Creating and editing animation in Anime Studio Pro.

Part of this course is hands-on and all participants will have access to Anime Studio Pro on the day.

Tutor Information:
Jeremy Purcell has been working with Anime Studio Pro for the past 8 years, using it on a range of productions including feature films (Song of the Sea), tv series (Puffin rock, Joe & Jack) and short films (Miss Remarkable & her Career, The Neighbours).

John Peavoy has worked as designer, editor, director and animator on a broad range of projects for both television and film. Currently John is working as an animator with Dog Ears/Cartoon Saloon on the children’s show “Puffin Rock” and also has directed a short film (The Neighbours) using Anime Studio Pro.

Saturday 25th April from 9.30am-4.30pm.

Cost:
Non Members: 65 Euro, Members: 50 Euro
