29.08.2013 | Storyboarding Workshop

This course will cover skills for storyboarding in TV for the animation industry – such as composition, pacing, using transitions and the over all ‘language’ of storyboarding. Participants will also be provided with a production package so they will be able to work on a storyboarding portfolio and get a professional review from the tutor.

Participant Profile

This workshop is aimed at individuals who wish to pursue storyboarding in the animation industry as a career. This event will really work out best for those who have recently graduated and those who wish pursue a career in animation with a strong emphasis on draftsmanship.

Tutor Info

Ben Hennessy has worked as an illustrator and storyboard artist in the animation industry for the past 5 years. In that time he has worked for many studios based in Ireland, including HMH, Jam Media, Telegael and Giant Creative to name a few. The productions he has worked on for these companies are on the Nintendo Wii, iPad, CBeebies and Nickelodeon.
