03.04.19 | Moho Dojo: An insight to Moho™ Pro Animation Software (5 Wednesday Evenings)

Course Content.

Over the 5 weeks the course will cover:

Week 1:

Introduction to Moho interface – specialist tools and functions with a focus on character animation and rigging. Looking at examples of character animation within Moho.

Week 2:

Asset creation and Rigging 1 the binding of forms, smart actions and smart bones IK and target bones moving towards creation of a flexible rig.

Week 3:

Rigging 2 Creating meshes and nested properties for rigs. VfX and and introduction to animation.


Week 4:

Animation 1- Frame by frame animation with Moho. Rig animation with Moho – the fundamentals.


Week 5:
Animation 2 – Creation of a character performance in Moho and output.

Participant profile:

Graduates or professionals with an understanding of 2d vector based animation software.

Tutor Info: John is a lecturer of animation and illustration at Athlone Institute of Technology. He has worked with Cartoon Saloon as a Moho animator on Puffin Rock, The Breadwinner and Pete the Cat, for the latter he has been nominated for and Irish Animation Award.

Date & Times:

5 Wednesday evenings from 6.30pm-9.30pm; April 3rd, April 10th, April 17th, April 24th and May 1st.

Cost:

Members: 100 Euro, Non Members: 125 Euro
