26.09.17 | Pre-Production Design for Animation (5 Tuesday Evenings)

Course Content:

This course will look at creating character packs for the pre-production phase for animated tv shows and feature films. The course will concentrate on Character turnarounds, Expression sheets, Mouthshapes, Character posing and colour techniques.

Participant Profile:

This course is aimed at aspiring graduates and professionals in animation and related industries who seek to further develop their drawing skills and expand their versatility within the studio environment. Participants should have some life drawing experience and have a basic understanding of Photoshop or similar software using a graphics tablet.

Tutor Info:

Patrick Rabbette began his career as a 3D artist in the Games Industry working for Microsoft Games Studios. During this time he transitioned to the role of concept artist and has been credited on numerous Xbox 360 Titles. Patrick began working in the animation industry in 2010 working as a 2D artist on numerous animated shows for TV and feature film.

5 Tuesday Evenings from 6.30pm-9.30pm – 26th September, 3rd October, 10th October, 17th October and 24th October.

Cost:

Members: 100 Euro, Non Members: 125 Euro
