29.03.14 | Comic Book Art and Sequential Storytelling (1 Day)

This Course Will Cover:

The process of drawing a comic strip from a script; how best to convey the visual narrative on the page; pacing, framing, shot-choices and composition.
Participant Profile:
Participants should be artists who are interested in pursuing a career creating comic books professionally.

Tutor Info:

Tutor 1
Stephen Mooney has been working in professional comics for ten years as an artist on titles including Freakshow, The Mummy, Angel, Wolverine and his recent creator-owned series, Half Past Danger.

Tutor 2
Nick Roche began working professionally as a comic book artist in 2006 on various titles including Transformers, Doctor Who and others. His most recent work was for Marvel Comics on their new Death’s Head 2 book.

Cost:
