This intensive 5-week course has been created to get your portfolio polished and ready to submit to studios or clients.

Course content:
Kirsten Shiel is currently the lead designer at Brown Bag Films and is regularly hiring and leading full design teams both in Dublin and Manchester for 2D and 3D projects. She will share some tips and tricks and guide you through the following topics:
- Character Design
- Environment Design
- Visual Development and Concept Art
- Colour and Lighting
- Social Media and Online Presence
- Interviews and Studio Tests
- Organisation and Presentation of your Portfolio
About the tutor

Kirsten Shiel has been working in the animation industry on both 2D and 3D projects for Disney, Nickelodeon, NBC Universal and Netflix as a background artist, a character designer, a concept artist, an art director and now a lead designer at Brown Bag Films Dublin.
She is also an award winning illustrator who has worked for clients like the BBC, Microsoft, Aer Lingus and even John West Tuna.
Participant profile: Recent graduates, free-lancers or artists who want to apply to studios or clients but feel like they could use a bit of guidance on how to present themselves and their work in the best possible light, or simply want to refresh their portfolio.
Dates and Times:
5 Tuesday evenings from 6.30pm-9pm: 11th Feb, 18th, 25th of February and 3rd and 10th of March 2020.

Members: 100 Euro, Non Members: 125 Euro
