Course Content:

This course will offer an introduction to 3D Modelling in Autodesk Maya, exploring :

  • The fundamentals of Modelling.
  • Customising interfaces and tools.
  • Sculpting tools.
  • Derformers.
  • UV mapping and Unwrapping.

Participant Profile:

This course is aimed at Junior 3D artists who are looking to break into the creative industries,students of animation and 3D artists who are considering switching from another 3D software .This course will provide a strong grounding in Autodesk Maya and students will leave with a comprehensive understanding of 3D Modelling.

Tutor Info:

Matthew Lloyd has worked in the Film,Television and Gaming since 1998. Some of Matthews work includes the Die Hard series, Spectral, Halo Nightfall and most recently the Amazon Prime Children series Stinky and Dirty. He currently works as a Lead Modeller in Dublin at Brown Bag Films and also teaches on the VFX program at Ballyfermot College.
