13.02.2020 | ZBrush Level II (5 Thursday evenings)

Course content

ZBrush is an industry standard application commonly used in animation, VR, Film/TV, and for sculptural practices. This course is designed as a week by week follow on to the “Introduction to ZBrush Level I” course to help you realise and explore your concepts efficiently in 3D. The course is structured over a five week period, one evening per week. This is to ensure you have time to develop and practice your knowledge and skills between sessions. At the end of the course, you will understand the brush system, using layers, morph targets, deformers and several other ZBrush features unexplored in the first “Introduction to ZBrush Level I” course as well as general approaches and workflows to take when creating artwork.

About the tutor:

Seán Forsyth has worked as a 3D Modeller, Texture Artist, Fur Groomer, Technical Director, CG Supervisor and Art Director in the animation industry for over 14 years, working on multi Emmy award winning television cartoons in that time as well as Ireland’s first 3D animated feature film. He has also worked on Augmented and Virtual Reality surgical simulators, has sculpted and 3D printed props for Game of Thrones and other major tv series currently in production and has been using ZBrush since 2004.
