On completion of this course, participants will have a practical approach to creating concepts and tailoring story, characters and visuals for the right audience and for broadcasters, distributors and producers. They will have the knowledge to take a raw idea and develop it into a strong pitch, ready for the production process that follows.

Participant Profile:

This course is aimed at Creatives and Animation Professionals who wish to make their own projects happen and take them to screen. Participants can be writers or directors but this is not a requirement at all – this course will help participants get the best from working with people in those roles.

Tutor Info:

Jason Tammemägi is an independent children’s media specialist whose work has been enjoyed by children worldwide. He has written over 100 broadcast stories and created the hit preschool shows FLUFFY GARDENS and PLANET COSMO. Jason has directed 25 hours of children’s programming including ROOBARB & CUSTARD TOO and, as former Creative Director of Geronimo Productions (Monster Animation), oversaw the creative vision, served as script editor and creative director on PUNKY and worked with writers on concept development to take shows from idea all the way to screen.

Cost:

Members: 90 Euro, Non Members: 110 Euro
