Due to the success of the last instalment of these courses, Animation Skillnet and Screen Skills Ireland are pleased to announce that Adam Oliver (formerly of Toon Boom Trainer) is returning with his popular online courses in Toon Boom Harmony. These courses are exactly the same as the ones provided through Toon Boom Trainer, but with updated content and an enhanced online learning experience for all students.
Participants can choose either the Animation or Rigging pathway, both courses being heavily focused on the key skills you need to work in a professional animation studio.
The course is unique in that it provides personalised, one-to-one live video tutorials each week. This means participants can chat to their tutor and get helpful feedback and answers to any areas they’re struggling with. Combine this with 7 day a week email support for a complete, cost effective way to learn.
The course is structured around a high quality video curriculum, broken down into weekly assignments and sub topics. Along with this, all participants receive a unique 40 day Toon Boom Harmony Premium license to allow them to complete their projects.
Participants receive a certificate upon completion and advice on their next move, whether that be applying for a studio role or working towards a short film.

Technical requirements
As this course will be taking place online, we will provide the necessary software licences to all participants, but it is expected that applicants have the equipment necessary to complete the course:
- A working PC or laptop with the minimum system requirements*.
- An audio or webcam system to communicate with the tutor
Course start date: Monday 15th of June 2020.
The course can be taken part time over a 5 week period, so with as little as 4 hours a week you can fit the study around your other commitments. There are no specific times you need to be available as all core content is pre-recorded.

The course is suitable for beginners who have some software knowledge, up to more advanced levels who already know the software and are looking for new skills.
