Course Content:

This course will cover the following:

  • English for working in the animation industry
  • Communicative skills for meetings
  • Effective email writing skills
  • Describing processes and workflow in English
  • Developing functional language for negotiating and debating ideas
  • Colloquial and informal English

Participant Profile:

This course is for anyone working in the field of animation who wants to improve their level of English. The course will focus on key communicative skills which will be immediately beneficial in a working environment. This is for people who already have a good foundation in English and want to improve their communicative skills. With a higher level of English you will be able to partake in meetings, discussions and debates with more confidence. You will also gain important skills for written communication which will be beneficial for reading and writing emails.

Tutor Info:

Teaching staff will be from Everest Language School. Teachers are qualified by Cambridge University (CELTA) and have years of experience in business English tuition, general English training and exam preparation. The syllabus has been written up and will be overseen by Everest Director of Studies Dr.Anne-Marie Connolly.

Date & Times:

5 Wednesday evenings from 6.30pm-8.30pm, 19th Sept, 26th Sept, 3rd Oct, 10th Oct, 17th Oct.

Note: 1st and 4th week of the course (19th Sept & 10th Oct) will be held in Meeting Room 1.

Cost:

Members: 100 Euro, Non Members: 125 Euro
