Your Graphic Novel – IP for Animation

Over 20 years working in Hollywood, Brendan was the original production designer for world’s first cgi animated tv series REBOOT (pre Pixar) and worked in animation for 10 years and then on to live action +vfx Hollywood features, eventually co-writing and designing Oscar/Golden Globe winning Mad Max Fury Road. Hired by Lorne Micheals’ Saturday Night Live to create the visuals for the Coneheads movie.

Ben Hennessy will host the workshop
Ben is an Irish based illustrator. He has worked as a character designer and comic book artist but primarily as a storyboard artist for shows on Cbeebies, Nickelodeon, PBS and Adult Swim. You can find him online as @Bennessy.

Working as a Deaf, Disabled, and Neurodiverse individual has always been an uphill battle. We will talk about breaking into the industry, day-to-day life in a studio, and how we are working towards better workplace equality for identifying individuals!
Please note that this workshop will be also interpreted live by two ISL interpreters.
