Flash (Animate CC) Bootcamp in collaboration with Salty Dog Pictures – Limerick – January 2018

Animation Skillnet in collaboration with Salty Dog Pictures, are running a Flash (Animate CC) Bootcamp in Limerick between Monday 15th January and Saturday 20th January 2018.

Course Details:
Learn how to animate in Flash (Animate CC) like a pro. The course will take place over three evenings (January 15th, 16th and 17th from 6-9pm) and 1 full Saturday (January 20th from 9-5pm) at Limerick School of Art & Design (LIT), George’s Quay Campus.
Participants will get instruction and hands on workshops covering (1) Scene Prep/Digital Layout, (2) Character Rigging, (3) Key Posing and (4) Inbetweening. And if there is time, the instructors will cover 2D Effects Animation as a bonus. Participants will have access to computers, software and prepared Flash files. The instructors are Thomas Gray and Clifford Parrott, both long time animation professionals working on many TV series as animator, director and creator.

Please note that this is not a beginners animation course. Participants are expected to have the basics of Classic 2D animation and a familiarity with Flash (Animate CC) or experience in ToonBoom Harmony as an alternative. Studios like Salty Dog Pictures and Treehouse Republic are planning productions using Flash (Animate CC) in 2018.

100 Euro per participant (max of 15 participants)
