Free online event for new entrants from all backgrounds to learn about writing for children’s animation.
Animation Skillnet is pleased to host the Introduction to Writing for Childrens Animation In Ireland event, in collaboration with Screen Skillnet, Screen Skills Ireland, Animation Ireland, Cartoon Saloon and Brown Bag Films & 9 Story Media Group. The event is co-funded through the BAI Sectoral Learning and Development Fund.
We are committed to removing barriers of entry to the industry, opening up opportunities for progression, and encouraging a more diverse and inclusive industry culture. With this in mind, we would specifically like to invite individuals from underrepresented backgrounds to attend the evening’s panels.
This evening will be an opportunity for a diverse group of newcomers to hear from industry professionals about the realities of writing for childrens animation, and the opportunities available in Ireland today.
Following the event, further details will be provided to attendees about an exciting Diverse Writers opportunity taking place in early 2022.
